empathy is a double edged sword.
a powerful weapon.

My practice mainly revolves around the belief that vulnerability it not a weakness, but a form of rebellion. I explore themes of vulnerability, identity, spirituality, femininity, and tension. I’m drawn to process-heavy methods; hand embroidery, freehand stitching, and improvised print techniques, processes that resist perfection, and demand radical presence. To me it’s not about perfection, but real, raw, humanness.

I take lots of inspiration and pleasure from humanness; truly listening to and learning from others lived experiences, seeking to amplify stories that have been overlooked or silenced.

Language itself plays a central role in my work: fragmented, poetic, an often confessional; I treat text as both material and message, using it to unearth what is often hidden. Soft rage, buried longing....
